FOCUS

Since 1978 “Focus” has been arranged biennially in Austrian federal states. After 1984 and 1992 (both times in Wörgl) this international amateur theatre festival will again take place in the Tyrol in 2010. Focus brings outstanding productions of non‐professional theatre groups to the stage, in which primarily the variety of amateur theatre will be shown. Therefore puppet theatre e.g. is as welcome as clown theatre, youth theatre, folk drama etc. The production should not be dominated by the text in order to give the international audience the possibility to follow the plot.
